If your looking to get more traffic to your blog the first place i would recommend would be Entrecard, basically once you have joined (it’s quick and easy to register) you grab the Entrecard widget of your choice and stick it on your site preferably the further near the top the better (above the fold) you will automatically get 200 ec credits free to start dropping your virtual cards on other peoples widgets.
Remember to look around any blogs that interest you and comment it will enable you to let other blog owners get to know you and your blog and to get return drops and ad space bought from you earning you plenty of credits.
Occasionally Entrecard have offers where you can buy credits with 50% off etc, for example at the moment they are doing an offer Entrecard Contest, everyone wins 5,000 credits!! which is what this post is all about go take a look and you will see what i mean.
The best part for me it has been well worth the while joining, apart from generating more traffic to bethere2day it has introduced me to a ton of blogs that i would have never found and become a part of a brilliant community who will in time regularly visit your blog not just to drop but to read your articles and throw some comments in.
A couple of downsides is that the daily dropping regime can be very time consuming if you are not organised with your drops regime but once you get it right you can halve the time of your daily drop round and commenting you can get plenty of tips from other members blogs and the Entrecard help section, the only other niggle i have is no widgets on some sites even though they have dropped on you it sounds trivial but it is annoying it’s time consuming although that has been cleared up a lot recently.
So if you want more traffic to your site give Entrecard a try

Nice post about EC but it also has its downsides. I hope their service improves a lot better. I’ve been with them since they started out, many people have come and gone but I can see no improvement at all. I have met quite a handful of wonderful people thru EC though that’s why I am sticking for a while longer.

I’ve met some of my best blogging friends through Entrecard. I think many people use it the wrong way and complain of spam blogs. i add all good blogs I see to favourites and then use a search to visit those blogs and place adverts at the same time.

I found Entrecard very useful for a while and it introduced me to some good blogs. But I tired of (a) dropping on the same blogs constantly (b) the amount of really crappy blogs on there (c) some of the shenanigans going on between the owner and some users. I haven’t been on it for a long time now, but have a look at the blog every now and then to see what’s happening there.
