I love, love the Hustle! And the last one too, but this is the first time I heard the original. I used to listen to Black is Black a lot during the 80s and I didn’t know it was a remake.

Thanks for visiting and I’m glad you liked the new theme. Happy MM Steve!

Three great songs. I remember the kids on the Pride team dancing to the War song for the war against drugs.

My Mother was a Phys Ed teacher for years. She taught High School for many years and each year taught dance as part of her program. In the Spring she had a show which always included, “The Hustle” in its many forms. Nice memory.
Love all your picks this week.

PSS: I cannot hear “War” anymore without thinking of Jackie Chan. LOL

Wow, The Hustle brought back memories – love that song! Every time I hear the song, War, I always smile thinking of Rush Hour. Do you remember the scene where Chris Tucker & Jackie Chen are singing it? So funny! Black is Black is another groovy classic that I danced to as a kid. Gr8 oldies! Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor! 😉

I Can’t Drive 55 with Janis Joplin, Wilson Pickett, & Commander Cody in the backseat!

I remember all three, too, but preferred not to listen to The Hustle. That one gets stuck in my head. Sorry for being a bit late this week, but just found the time to drop by.
