There is something about listening to Tom Jones – those songs get stuck in my head all day (in a good way). Thanks for a fun collection.

The first two provided great memories, but I have no memory of the last one.

1970 is the year of my baby sister’s birth. What a good year to pick for some retro music from and I just love She’s A Lady! Ii remember my mother use to watch Tom Jones TV program when I was a young girl, and it was quite obviously she thought he was super handsome, which he was. He not only had great looks, but he had a great voice, too. Oh, I haven’t heard Spirit in the Sky in quite a while. I always thought this was a hippie song for some reason. It just sounded that way to me, and maybe it is. lol Brown Girl in the Ring is new-to-me, so I appreciate you educating me a bit. Thanks for groovin’ with the Monday’s Music Moves Me crew. It’s always a blast when you join!

I’ve heard the first two of course, but the last one was definitely a new one for me. Thanks for sharing, and sorry I’m so late I went to lay down and I guess I needed more rest then anticipated. Silly me! Have a rockin’ week my friend! Great choices. Tom Jones sure has a powerful voice doesn’t he?

It’s nice to have an idea what songs were playing when I was born. Spirit in the Sky sounds fun. I enjoyed it.

P.S. Cute one today. But my fave is still Hallelujah 😀

Bumfuzzle is a good word for me this week!

  17. You sure know how to get a gal swiveling in her chair. Great songs – and I still remember (most 0f) the words. Actually, I saw BGITR last night on Top Of The Pops 1978 on BBC4 , where one of the girls gave us a rather impressive limbo dance during the song!

ps…… know I really DO shout out the confirmation word!!
