Steely Dan is a fave from the 70s. I love listening to music from that era. It reminds me so much of when I was a teenager. Have you noticed practically all of the artists to immerse upon the music world since the millennium have little talent? Old school artists are the real McCoy when it comes to original sound and possessing the ability to sing outside the studio magic. Great choices!
May 2014 be a blessed year for you and yours, my friend!
Steely Dan is a band I started to like later in life, now I really like them. Happy New Year to you!

Steely Dan’s the best, although the Whistling Jack was kinda cool, too.
I know I wore the grooves out of Rikki Don’t Lose that number.
I was not sure I knew who Whistling Jack was but I do remember that tune!
Thanks for bring up good memories.
Happy New Year and wishing great things for you in 2013

Unit 4+2 look like they just finished school LOL. Not sure about the voice in Steely Dan’s video, the beginning reminds me of another artist who’s name I can’t remember and all I can say about Whistling Jack Smith . . . . Well – What a treat that was. Who taught him his dance moves? Was it you Steve? LOL
Happy Music Monday to you & Happy New Year too xxx

I remember Rikki don’t lose that number. I used to sing in the car as my mother was taking me to school. It’s a wonder I didn’t make her deaf, or at least scream at me to shut up! I sing terrible! Ha! Happy New Year!
