What an interesting eclectic mix of songs this week. I love that Imagine Dragons song, but it is is the Rose Garden song that made me smile. I loved that song so long ago, I had completely forgotten about it.

How did you get that photo of me dancing in my bathing suit?

  6. β€œMake Me An Island” by Joe Dolan (1969) was a song that I never heard before but I enjoyed it. When it started like an Italian song. LOL. It’s a shame that the two songtresses passed way. If you look at it many of the great singers have died. Life and death is natural unfortunately. β€œDemons” by Imagine Dragons (2013) is an enjoyable song to listen to. Stevebethere, you just seem to know what songs to put into to your blog every Monday. I really enjoy checking out every Monday.
Have an exciting Monday my friend. See ya.

Such a shock to hear about Cilla Black’s passing – she definitely was a true entertainer and someone who I would absolutely call a LEGEND. Couldn’t believe the sad news about Lynn Anderson passing too – Such a lovely fitting tribute Steve to two of the great female singers.

  10. Rosey says:

The little gif is dancing to “I beg your pardon.” He’s doing a good job too! πŸ™‚ Loved that song, my grandparents used to play it. πŸ™‚

I wish that I had not heard a co-worker sing “I Never Promised…” all the time. She ruined it for me but it is still classic.

Imagine Dragons has become a favorite.

So…I don’t like this not being able to shout out anything here anymore. What is up with that?

Fine, I will do it myself…*shouts* SEND ME COOKIES!

I’ve never heard of Cilia Black before, but she had a nice voice. I remember singing as a little little kid, “I Beg Your Pardon, I never Promised You a Rose Garden” whenever I went passed my mother’s rose garden.
