Silly Sunday’s Easy Chicken Recipe

haha chickenHere is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing — imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it
was perfect for people like me, who are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out, give this a try.

1 chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing
1 cup uncooked popcorn
Salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Brush chicken well with melted butter salt and pepper.
Fill cavity with stuffing mixed with popcorn.
Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the chicken’s arse blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room and lands on the table, it’s done and ready to eat.

And you thought I couldn’t cook …..

No need to thank me just get cookin’

200 degrees? Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius. Inquiring minds want to know. BTW, is this a Julia Child approved recipe?

Going by the force of the chicken blowing out the oven I would say Celsius, yes it is and also approved by Butterkist, just one word of warning keep away from the oven door whilst cooking. 😉

And you don’t even need pot holders!

This would be especially helpful to busy multi-tasking people. They can be busy doing a zillion other things while cooking their chicken and they won’t have to keep an eye on it to know how it’s cooking. The explosion will let ’em know when it’s done. Excellent! Thank you, Steve! 😀

Have you ever seen an old movie called Money Pit with Tom Hanks and Shelly Long? This reminds me of a very funny scene from there. Thanks for the giggles.
