I had been looking around for a decent WP theme for a while so after a lot of searching i found Thesis but wasn’t sure if i could make proper use of it as i am not code savvy at all in fact i know nothing and thought why purchase a WP theme when their is thousands of free ones to choose from, so i decided to look at why it’s so popular.
After reading the DIYThemes website and looking at some tutorials and Thesis showcases i thought surely i can do that or at least try, so i decided to take the plunge and get it and am now enjoying getting to grips with it, there is options galore but if you want to go further there’s heaps of support from DIYThemes website and their support forum everything i wanted to know about customisation and coding etc is there.
The one thing i just cannot get my head around is the Thesis hook system but i’m working on it
although i have the Thesis Open Hook plugin installed which does all the hard work for newbies, anyway i am learning more as time goes on and doing a lot of reading.
That’s all for now
April 1st 2010: Now updated to Thesis 1.7
