      @ Wilmaryad – They were shared out and were gone in minutes lol so i only had one piece they were bought from the shop across the road as a visiting gift.

      which piece is a baklava? lol

        Baklava is the multi-layered, lozenge-shaped one in the center. I’ll let you in on a secret that you shouldn’t share with your Lebanese pastry maker: North African baklava is tastier and a lot less greasy. 😉

          @ Wilmaryad – Ahh! thanks i have had them before but not for a long time

          they are quite common place here the area i live in central London has a large Arab community so there are quite a few shops etc like the one above.

    It has been a while since I enjoyed Lebanese Pastries, they are a tasty wee snack. I think I will have to venture down Edgeware Road and go get some real soon.
