I would love to go there someday..

  3. Stan says:

I like the way old European cities mix it up with the historic stuff and new stuff.

  4. Marble Arch…if I recall there’s an underground stop named that. I don’t think I ever got out there though which is probably why I’ve never seen that arch in real life before.

i ve never been here and i wish i could 🙂

    Delightfully Delectable

  6. I’ve never been to London but the pictures sure make the architecture look pretty. It does look like it’s always gray and rainy as they say. That would make me sad. Still, I’d like to go sometime.

Oh! I’m jealous now. London is one of my absolutely favoritest places to visit, and we haven’t been traveling since having our little airplane screamer. 🙂 At least I can travel along with your pictures, so thank you!

Feel free to come by and link up at Hobo Mama!

Really nice photos. Since I doubt I’ll ever get there, great to see it through a real person’s eyes.

Nice architecture. Never made it to London or Europe during my time in the military, spent nine years in asia, but seeing your pictures makes me wish I’d made it to that end of the world.

  17. I have been living in London for around 17 months now and I have yet to visit Marble Arch, I have driving past it on bus a few times, but for some reason I have yet to visit it…Maybe one of these days I will pay it a visit…

It is indeed beautiful. I would like to see that arch for real. Perhaps one day.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

  21. It surprises me too, it is only a 15 minute or so bus journey from where I live, I will have to head down a day and take in Marble Arch, Speakers Corner, Hyde Park and see what else is kicking about down that way.

I was there about 5 years ago, before I made London my home, but that is but a distant memory. I can vaguely remember some lunatic ranting on about nothing at Speakers Corner!

Ahh! yes that must have been a Sunday.

I took them yesterday morning so it was relatively quiet, i love walking around the Serpentine in Hyde Park but didn’t go into the park.

  22. So beautiful! This is what I like best about blog hopping esp on Wednesday, words or not, I get to visit all over the world , see & learn about things & know I will never get to do in person, short of winning a super large lotto & getting a body transplant, LOL! thanks for stopping for a first time visit! I hope we see more of each other 🙂
