  4. I totally agree with you Steveo. The children of today are losing out in life, the enjoyment with what is going on with the outside and just the fun of being outside with your friends. I think that our children are losing what it means to be a child. I feel sorry for them and I don’t even own a cell phone and don’t give a damn. While I was on the train to Toronto looking out the windows, I noticed that many people, children, teenagers, adults and even older people just looking at their machines. It was kind of eerie because the train ride was so quiet.
Those damn machines. See ya my friend.

I agree and hate it when walking along and people walking towards you tapping on their phones and you have to dodge them, I saw one lady a while back walk straight across a busy road without even looking…total madness.

Thanks for texting by Pauleo πŸ™‚

Oh I so agree. Today’s children are missing out on so very much. It is just sad. Great post.

I tried to have my kids in outdoor, dirty camps in the summers. They are so good for them.

My oldest just got his first cell phone. His nose is in it a lot. We make him put it in the kitchen in the evening. At school it has to be off.

    Steve,

I’m glad I grew up playing in creek beds, freeze tag, dodgeball, and any number of other outdoor activities instead of ruining my imagination. It’s okay now if I ruin my imagination because I can’t quite do those other things. πŸ™‚

Yes siree, our kids are being deprived of making mud pies and walking through puddles after rains.
