I remember that phone, party lines and funny phone numbers and designated rings. I had an aunt and uncle that worked for the telephone company when it was still the switch boards, he worked in the field and she at a switch board as an operator.

    Thanks for the party!

It wasn’t until we were older that dad said that it was OK for us to check on it. Thank goodness, because when my girlfriend called and called ” Hi sexy “, oh my if my mother had picked it up, my dad. Ha,ha,ha.

Have a sexy day stevebethere. See ya.

Oh those were the days!!! Now we have assigned ringers so I can decide if I really want to answer the phone at all. 🙂

  36. Now we all run and see if someone else will answer it or wait for the machine to pick up. But I kind of act like that when my cell phone rings cause it’s new and barely anyone has my number.

  37. Twitter ID:

I remember those days when it seemed like the phone would never stop ringing at my house! I can still see the counter in the kitchen where the phone would get plunked down as we we shouted for the person that so and so was on the phone!
