You have no idea how true this is. My husband thinks we’re still young and cool but because I go to festivals, and concerts where everyone is 20 (if that), I see the look of horror or double takes they give me…so I know exactly how I am perceived….problem is, you don’t feel it!! But I guess that’s a good thing!

Hi Steve, I am not elderly, yet; but I am getting there (52). Hope you are having a wonderful week.

  18. Oh, I know! Your mind tries to deny it but the mirror tells the truth. Doing the everyday things that were so simple take so much longer too.
The day it really hit home was when we were taking a short break somewhere. One of the medications I was on was giving me a lot of joint problems and I was using a walking stick. I went to cross the road and an elderly? stall holder rushed over telling me it was a tricky road and insisted on seeing me across. Of course I thanked him but I felt mortified!

Oh dear! That hits the nail on the head. Mom isn’t elderly quite yet, but she always forgets how old she is and tried to act like she is a lot younger!

  21. Twitter ID:

That time is inching closer and closer with every passing year. I’ll try to beat it off the best I can but I’m beginning to think it’s a losing battle. lol Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun. Stay safe and be well, my friend!

  22. Baby Boomers are notorious for being in age denial. And there is that moment when you do not consider yourself a high risk for COVID-19 then you read the 10 high risk factors and realize that you have 5 of them.
