There are those that have done this the wrong way and it’s the last thing they did. Thinning the herd.

Have a elevatortastic WW on a Tuesday, Steve. πŸ™‚

I never thought of doing that. I guess if you’re looking down at your phone, you may miss the fact that the lift door has opened and you’re going to fall into the dismal abyss of the lift shaft. It must happen all the time.

LOL you could be right most people walking down the street have their heads buried into their phones tapping away and nearly getting run over

Have an elevatedtastic week Rhonda πŸ‘Ώ

  6. mimi says:

The door opens and you step forward without actually thinking, don’t you?

One lady, when the door opened, reached for what she thought was the chain to turn the light on in the elevator (it was a very old building with an old fashioned elevator), and it was the cable. She held the cable and slid to the bottom. Someone called the fire department, she had skinned her hands up badly, but other than that she was fine, and she ended up marrying one of the firefighters. They loved to tell the story of how they met.

Wow I agree with Rhonda, not paying attention is not a good thing!!

I’ve heard of a few cases of people plunging to their death when they stepped forward. The doors opened but the car was not there Scary thought. I live in an apartment and use the elevator daily!

Is that ever really a problem?

I’d say that that elevator isn’t working right if it’s not there when the doors open. LOL

  13. Twitter ID:

    I love Mimi’s comment. I can’t beat that one!

    Thank you for hosting .

  15. I didn’t even know that there was an elevator there. I guess I better check and make sure before I move. Dah!!!!!

I’m kind of late today Steveo. I thought that since Spring had Sprung I’d go for a walk in my shorts and T – shirt. BIg mistake, it was only 1degree C.

Now if you thought I really did that, I’ll sell you some land in the swamp, real cheap. ha,ha,ha.

Relax tonight and have some tea & crumpets. ( By the way, tell me what a crumpet is? ) See ya.

It was a good job you were joking about the shorts Pauleo because shorts are banned in that lift LOL πŸ™‚

      A crumpet is
a thick, flat, savoury cake with a soft, porous texture, made from a yeast mixture cooked on a griddle and eaten toasted and buttered.

They are quite nice really although I haven’t ate one for years

It is also used her as an innuendo for something rude Pauleo LOL πŸ™‚

      Have a crumpettastic day πŸ™‚

I am so happy that I am not drinking while I read that warning!!! I snorted!!

So funny and yet hopefully no one got in an elevator when it is not there =P

  19. You have to wonder, “Why don’t they fix the door so it won’t open unless the cab has arrived?” Just sayin’.

I’m sure someone thinks this sign relieves them of any legal responsibility in case of accident…probably not.

  20. Twitter ID:

Funny words of caution today. πŸ™‚ We all should be looking where we are stepping! Happy WW!
