I’ve done all those things too. We’re old, Steve. How did that happen so rapidly?

Yep to all of those except the foil – but did have to stand there moving the ears while my sister or mum & dad kept saying ‘no,no.no,STOP!’ to get the picture. Funnily that meme brought back that memory quite strongly. Ha. That all said, aren’t we lucky to have spotify and streaming…these lockdowns could be SO much worse!

  11. Remember Steveo, I’m 71 turning 72 soon and I’ve done all of those that you showed. I wonder which was better, the past or the present of today. I worry about the future.
Have a great day my friend.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Our first phone had a party line (several customers sharing the same line). Our first TV only broadcast three channels and if I took a picture of my food, it was going to be a week before they were developed. Yep, old is what I is.

  19. Twitter ID:

Sounds like so much fun. Bring those days of simplicity back.
    Will ya steve? Ha! Ha!

Thanks for taking us for a walk down memory lane.

    Happy weds.

So very true, although Mom was a flight attendant for years in the 80’s and early 90’s. There were no cellphone cameras or cellphones for that matter but the Japanese always took regular camera photos of their airplane meals.

I am that old too. πŸ™‚ I don’t miss having to put a pencil in a cassette tape to wind it back in when it pulled out.
Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day.

Old but happy! Being happy we keep us young!
What do you say about this approach?
    Thank you, Steve!
    Happy WW!

  24. Less than 10 channels? I can remember the excitement of getting a second TV channel! My first tape recorder had a joy stick and I used to mend split tapes with sellotape. Of course I am not admitting I am old!

I am THAT old :0) And you know what? I’m happy about that. I still remember the times, when I don’t need to check my mobile to know how I feel about the world or any other stuff.
    Stay in health, Steve.
    xoxo

  26. Catscue says:
