Ha, you had a knob on your TV that changed the channel? Fancy. We felt lucky to find the needle nosed pliers.

  5. mimi says:

Heeheehee! Bigger Girl says the kid who sat too close to the TV should have been the remote control; “Son, change the channel for me, I want to watch Twilight Zone!”

  6. Twitter ID:

I do not miss changing channels! Now I watch exactly what I want when I want through Hulu and Netflix. πŸ˜€

My hubby constantly says something very similar to our girls. We have one daughter that tends to hog the remote in our house. If it ever goes missing you just need to retrace her steps.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

I remember those days! We didn’t have a remote for our television until I was in 5th or 6th grade. Now kids can just speak into the TV remote and it will change the channel. Crazy!

Love it – thanks for making my day! πŸ™‚

Kids really don’t know how easy they have it, do they? Though I do kinda miss shuffling through the shag carpet and really getting my brother good with the static electricity while on my way to change the channel! πŸ˜‰

This so reminds me of how my kids use to be. They were so lazy and would argue as to who was going to get up to change the channel. Can you believe that? SHEESH!!! Kids don’t know that they got it so good these days that’s for sure! Have a great weekend my friend! And boogie until the cows come home!!! Hmmmm wonder who made up that phrase and why… hmmmmmm

  27. Twitter ID:

Yeah, I still remember those days. And I also remember only having black & white TV and a few channels to watch. Kids today have no idea how fortunate they are!

  28. Sorry Steveo. I was unable to open my screen yesterday but it opened this morning. Once in awhile it does that. Kids of today are given many easy things for them. I wish we could get them to go back into the past like in the old cowboy days and see if they could survive.
I’m sorry to see that it’s raining. I think we would love to have some rain. My lawn went from green to yellow and its very dry.
Have the greatest day that you can have my friend. See ya.
